We're Alive - Making it through the airport

Our first battle of the day was the airport. The high winds made things extra exciting both at the airport and in the air!

It was not quite as bad as Renee and my death defying landing in Minnesota, but it was certainly filled with quite a few air drops and swaying. We were both grateful for club soda and ginger ale when beverage service was finally able to come around.

Landing in Phoenix is always exciting - BIG airport, lots of shops, baggage walkers, and even salesmen! Perhaps the most hilarious thing was an interesting character Wess met - when you get a chance ask him about "I will not ever eat a tomato".
