Arizona Science Center: Water Feature

In the courtyard on the first floor there is a fun water feature that is colorful and highly interactive. I do have to mention that most things in the center seem to be well constructed and we only noticed one flaw with this exhibit (can't win them all).
There is a large centerpiece which all the surrounding elements shoot colorful plastic balls into (the same balls you would find in a ball pit at Chuck E Cheese). There is a element where you can play music by releasing water into steel piece. There is a pressure pump that takes way to long to pump and once released shoots a ball across the centerpiece (does not work all the time). There is a PVC tube connection element where children can connect different pieces to make water flow different ways. It was a lot of fun but definitely for children ages 8+ based on the height of the exhibit.

  1. This looks very appealing. I wonder if it becomes the busiest area of the museum when it is open.

  2. It was one of my favorite exhibits. Incorporated music, cause and effect, colorful flying things, and water...a lot of fun.
